ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for a passionate Kitchen Porter Supervisor, to support our Assistant Back of House Manager leading our Stewarding Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team on a permanent basis, and help us to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other.
At The Landmark London, our purpose is to enrich the journeys of our people and our guests and as a Kitchen Porter Supervisor, your main duties will include:
•To assist the Back of House Manager and the Assistant Back of House Manager in supervising and co-ordinating the activities of the team, facilities, operation and cost.
•To set up and attend a weekly meeting with the Banqueting Headwaiter responsible for the requisitions and discuss set up timings and any possible issue with fulfilling the requisitions for the week ahead.
•To carry out a monthly stock take of operating equipment in banqueting areas and store and report to Back of House Manager
•To assist and co-ordinate all set ups on the day of the event, brief and co-ordinate assigned team members to ensure all aspects of the function are covered e.g. clearing stations organised, plating team, service team and closing team are briefed and in place at the time required.
•To ensure that the use of chemicals and machinery is adhered to as per COSHH and training standards in the department. No machinery or chemicals are to be used if you have not been trained.
As a Kitchen Porter Supervisor, you will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
